Handed my exam for Computerised Level III in at Post Office at 15:32pm today. Just had my first check of the results page and as of 15:48pm it hasn't been received by the ICB yet. I suppose that was being a bit hopeful.

Next step (for me) is the Sage 50 workbooks and exams. I've already ordered the first one. This level I'm assuming should be fairly straightforward as I should already know most of this throught sitting the ICB exams. Then it's 2 & 3 after that. In the meantime I'll need to get my website filled in and approved. I've ordered a framed A3 poster for the Post Office (£260 a year plus VAT for the locality I chose).

After that it will be adverts in the local paper, flyers out to local businesses and then letters to local accountants. I'll need to start recouping some of the money I've spent over the last 21 months.

Good luck Peasie!  You seem to know where you are going and have got it all organised.

I'm waiting for my payroll exam to be marked :-)

I may appear organised but I tend to procrastinate over things. Maybe doing the sage workbooks is be putting off actually setting out in the big wide world.

Sage Workbooks Stage 1 - I've done a spreadsheet detailing each section for each book with times - Sage helpfully indicate how long each section should take. So rather than do the website this weekend I think I may have a bash at this Stage 1. Book 1 should take just under 4 hours, Book 2 - 1¼ hours, Book 3 - 3½ hours, Book 4 - 3 hours. 11 or 12 hours all in - I will have actually covered most of this already using Sage Instants. I'll end up buying Stage 2 halfway through Stage 1.
