Is this an ICB advertisement?

James, I think this is more for you although other members might like to check.  This advert has appeared on my local gumtree site 'www.gumtree.com/p/jobs/become-a-payroll-administrator-and-earn-20k-plus/88486729', please have a look at this as the advert is done in such a way that viewers will be under the belief that the advert is directly from the ICB, surely this is unauthorised use of the ICB logo?

It's not an advert for a job, it's for a training course. A misleading title. But it is no different really from a learning provider using the logo on their own website. As it says "ICB Recognised and Accredited" it doesn't lead me to think it is a direct advert from the ICB. Although I was under the impression that if the ICB logo was used on the internet then there had to be a link back to the ICB website so maybe they haven't bothered to seek approval for using it on Gumtree.

EDIT : The actual title and advert aren't misleading. But it's location on the website is. As is the bit that says
Contract type Permanent

Hi Peasie,
I realise it is not an advertisement for a job, my problem is that whoever has placed the ad has declined for some reason or another to include their name thus adding to the illusion that the contact is to the ICB.  I also note that the ad says 'ICB recognised and Accredited', but this is, as far as I interpret it, not any form of disclaimer saying that the ad is not from the ICB.  My opinion is that the ad is has deliberately set out to mislead the reader into believing that they are dealing with the ICB.  As members we pay to use the logo under approved and stringent conditions and it is my belief that this is in flagrant violation of that policy and needs to be addressed.
