Can anyone explain why the first meeting for the new South East Cornwall branch is being held in Plymouth, Devon?

Hi Tracy
I chose a place on the outskirts of Plymouth so it would be easily accessible from SE Cornwall and West Devon.  As there's no group in this area at all, I thought I would make it as easy as possible for as many people to get to it.  However, one of the topics for discussion on the night is where the best location will be, depending on who turns up.  Hope you'll come along.

I would just like to thank Angela for taking the time and the effort to arrange last nights meeting. It was a shame that only 4 of us (including Angela) turned up.  I hope that these meetings will continue and the numbers attending will grow as it is good to get to meet fellow members

Hello,

I was at the first meeting of the SE Cornwall branch as well. And what's in a name? With just the 4 us we stretch from the South Hams, via Plymouth into Cornwall. It doesn't matter. What does matter is the fact that just 4 of us were there, even  though more people had signed up. I would just like to stress that it was great to meet a few others from the profession. I'm only a student so far, but it was great to get some insight into what it involves to have a practice. Hopefully I'll be looking for clients soon! I would really urge anybody from the area to come to the next meeting on the 24th November. And Angela - great job girl!! Thanks for putting in the time and effort. Let's hope it's rewarded with some more members next time!

Hi Angela
Just checking that the next meeting is still going to be held this Thursday.  I am looking forward to meeting some more members this week and also to hearing about Conference.   Hope it was a good experience.  Can I echo what Mark and Tineke said and thank you for all your hard work last month.

Yes, the next meeting will be on Thurs at 7.30pm at the Future Inn again.  I've got lots of notes from the conference to write up, which will keep me busy.
Looking forward to seeing you there and hope we can attract some new members.

I will do my best to get there - the word "region" added to the branch title makes more sense; I had no idea there was no branch in Plymouth.
