I couldn't believe it when I saw that on a website - I won't say which one. Made me laugh. Don't take this the wrong way anyone - I just found it funny. I've seen adverts for emergency plumbers or joiners but never an emergency bookkeeper.

When I read you post it reminded me of something that made me laugh the other week.
I've come across a small shop called "24/7 Fresh Fruits & Vegetables".  I couldn't belive that, even Tesco's closed on Sunday night, but this tiny shop is open all the time and all they sell is fruit&veg (no alcohol or cigarettes) - I went inside to check :)

Have any of you ever in your life went or even thought of going to the shop at let say 3 o'clock in the morning to buy an apple?

On a serious note, I think new businesses are trying to bring something new to the market, stand out from the competition, offer something different...

We have a caravan called '24/7 coffee' near our office. Poor girl making coffee 24/7

Serious note, yes it's probably because someone has forgotten to fill in self-assessment or their accountant/bookkeeper had made a serious mistake. You don't want to mess around with HMRC
