Not-For-Profit Organisations.

Am I right in thinking that you need to be level 3 qualified to do not-for-profit?

I've been approached by our local community shop.  Apparently they aren't a registered charity, but they pay any surplus at the end of the year to local charities.

When I studied for level 2 manual, this was covered in the sylabus as I was working from an old course book, so I know how to do it - but obviously I don't want to start anything if I'm not allowed.  I suspect not but just need confirmation please.

Thanks
Andrea

That's interesting - an accountant friend has recently decided to give up doing various church accounts and is probably going to be handing them over to me. I'd best hurry up and get my Level 3 hadn't I??
