On Thursday night, we held the inaugural meeting of the SE Cornwall Cornwall Regional Group, although I wonder if it should be renamed the West Devon and SE Cornwall Group. Whilst 10 people booked to come, unfortunately only four of us showed up. However, we had a very enjoyable evening. I quickly threw away my agenda and the evening took on a more informal air. We discussed all sorts from ICBenefits to charging methods to how we would like the meetings to move forward. We are in agreement that we would like to take a more formal approach with a speaker and a hired room to boost our CPD points, but at present, with such low numbers, we will continue to meet in the bar at the Future Inn at Derriford on the third Thursday of every month, bar August and December. However, next month, it will be put back a week so that we don’t clash with the conference. If anyone would like to join us, you would be most welcome.
