Hi

Has anyone got any P & L /balance sheet templates that they would be willing to share.

Any help would be appreciated.

This whole area is being looked at as to the best way to enable file sharing.

Hopefully James can give us an update it may be we need to look at something in the interim ourselves.

Hi

Just noticed your post. I have made up a TPL and Balance sheet spreadsheet. The TPL calculates itself as you enter figures and the gross profit/loss is automatically transferred to the balance sheet. Once on the balance sheet, it let's you know at the bottom when the two amounts don't balance.

It was designed on Excel 2010, but should work on earlier versions.

Will send across, let me know if there is anything that needs altering or if you have a problem with it.

Hi David,

Would it be Ok to forward me a copy of these? I am trying out many possibilities at the moment; I am trying clear books through looking at your website also!. 

I am just waiting to upgrade to MICB (exams have been passed the last 2 weeks), getting the insurance sorted, website and stationery etc. before applying for the Practice Licence. So as you can imagine, like many people have and are experiencing, I am just trying to get myself organised and get as much info and resources together as possible. There are so many avenues to consider -  it can be a little frustrating!

To Stuart, What do you mean by the "whole area" Sorry i did not understand your reply.

To kerry, Hang in there keep on going! You are not the only one and I know what it feels like to have various avenue to consider. I think once we have had templates prepared and up and running, Website sorted, Marketing process in place, it takes a big part of the burden out of the shoulders. Wish you the best.

Sent the spreadsheets over to your respective emails. Note these are only for sole traders as I have not yet gone through to level III
