Passed Level 1 Manual - what's next?

I have passed the Level 1 Manual Bookkeeping and would like to get stuck into my Computerised Level 2. I have used Sage every day for the last 4 years and am hoping I will find it not as stressful as the Level 2 Manual papers look. However I am unsure if I can do this before completing Level 2 Manual. Is there a specific order to which I have to do the Level 2 exams?

Thank you.

HI,

There is no specific order, however, completing the manual does help with the background knowledge needed for the computerised and perhaps help it to make more sense.

Regards

Normally I'd suggest doing the manual first for the reason mentioned by Kerry - but as you've been using Sage then maybe doing a mock computerised exam first to see how you get on with it. If you pass that then do the real thing. If you fail it then if it was on the theory then do the manual first.

I did my manual II after doing my computerised level III but I think it depends on your experience and what you know.

Good luck

Thank you for the replies. I am wanting to complete both, to back up my 4 years of learning experience within bookkeeping roles. I don't particularly want to work for myself so feel the computerised qualification is more relevant to what an employer would require, should I decide to change jobs.  I also know how much I need to complete the Manual Level as well, for my own understanding of the accounting processes within Sage. Think I will try a mock computerised paper and see how I go, as per the response from Peasie.

Many thanks again for the help. Kerry.
