Level II computerised - which software?

Hi All

I haven't even thought about which software I will use when I go on my own, although a few people have recommended VT Transaction on another forum.

I'm down to sit Level II manual early December, so thought I might as well tackle Level II computerised shortly too.  Only I don't have any software!!!

I don't want to panic buy so at the moment I'm thinking about taking out a free trial for the exam. However, some poeple say that the version you get often has restrictions so I might not be able to do the complete exam.

Has anyone sat this paper recently, and if so, what did you use?  Was it the ull version or just a trial?

Thanks!!!

I did the Level II and Level III computerised using Sage Instant - it was the full version provided by my course provider. Others have taken and passed using the month long free trial period of various software. I think the 180 day version of Sage Instant would also work although not sure of the price. It's probably more expensive than the full version of other products.

If you're not going with a course provider it's best to search the forum for those posts where people have passed using the free trial versions. I think there is a VT trial period of 60 days - it won't produce some of the reports asked for but I believe others have found an acceptable workaround.

Hi Jojo,

Welcome to the forum.

I sat my level 2 on a self study basis using Fusion. They do 2 months trial. At the time there was  few issues which are now resolved. You should give it a try.

Wish you the best.
Kind Regards,

The Fusion trial is now only 30 days, so not sure if that gives me enough time to learn the system, do a mock, then take the actual exam.

I can't seem to find any previous threads on VT Transaction (who offer 60 days trial), how people found it, what the issues where and how they were resolved.  If anyone knows where it is can you post a link or a date or something that might help?
