ICB exemptions with AAT.

Hi there everybody,

Just completed and submitted the Level 3 diploma in Payroll Management for marking.

I have been studying with the AAT for a while now as a distance learning student.

Am I correct in assuming that the AAT level 3 qualification ensures that you are exempt from the ICB level 2 examinations and the AAT level 4 qualification ensures that you are exempt from the ICB level 3 examinations?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what concerns me is that you need to provide references for the ICB to consider you exempt from their exams?

As a student member already, what sort of fee's do I need to pay?

I really want to have a crack at the self-assessment exam, as I chose auditing and cash management with the AAT rather than the business and personal tax exams.

I did use the search function, but couldn't find any mention of references?

Thanks very much for any ones help here.

Sorry to double-post.

I read the requirements again and it appears I do not need to provide referees if can photocopy and send in my AAT certificates.

Does anyknow know what the entrance exam for membership to the ICB comprises?

Thanks.
