I have a client who is a director he wants to stop taking a salary after 4 month during the year (because is company is not doing so well) how do I put him on hold in sage payroll? do I issue a P45?
Hi John,No, don't issue him a P45, just don't pay him. I can't actually look at my Sage payroll at the moment, but is there possibly a box somewhere in the employee record that you can tick to put the employee on hold?Pauline
Open the employee record.Employment tab.Down the bottom right there is a "Status" section.Click the down arrow and choose "On hold"
