Hello,

We are looking to get a branch set up to cover Preston and the other local areas within Lancashire.  Until we know for sure how many people would like to attend a Preston ICB Group, I have found a venue in Leyland that will cost £36.00 to rent for half a day.  As the group grows, we will be able to rent space in a venue in Preston but it does cost more than the one in Leyland.  There is a cafe on site and we can arrange for tea/coffee to be available, but I would need to know numbers before I can get a cost for that.

The first meeting is going to be held on Friday January 27th either from 9am until 11am or 10 am to 12pm.  It's dependent on what time the majority of people interested in going would prefer.

We would need to ask anyone that attends the meeting to help pay towards the rental costs of the venue - and the amount would depend on the number of people attending.

At the first meeting, we would just get to know each other and talk about what we'd like to have happen at future meetings, how often we would like to meet and that sort of thing  - so really just sorting out a plan of action for the group.

If anyone is interested in attending a Preston Group, please reply to the post so we can get an idea of numbers.

Hi Arianna and apologies for not replying sooner. If I am honest I was waiting to see where the Manchester branch meeting was to be held. I live beween Preston and Manchester and was going to make a decision based purely on the best geographical location. I don't suppose there is a problem with me attending both meetings ( or is there?) and then doing what's best given my own circumstances. Thanks for arranging the meeting and I look forward to seeing you on 27th Jan. Please let me know location and time at your earliest convenience. John

Hi John,

We've decided to have the meeting on January 27th from 10am until 12pm in Leyland at the Leyland Business Park, Centurion House, on Centurion Way.  We will be meeting at the cafe for tea/coffee at 9:30am.  There is going to be a £5.00 fee which will cover the rental cost of the room.

Of course you can attend both meetings if you would like - that won't be a problem at all!
