Becoming an associate

Hi,

I could be being a bit dim here but after passing the Level I and two Level II exams how do I become an associate member?  Do I have to pay the annual membership fee of £82 even though I only paid the £45 student membership 2 months ago.  I'm hoping that I only have to pay the difference.  I've tried to call the ICB but there's no answer so I guess they've broken up for Christmas.

Hope someone can help.  Time is against me as I've got a job lined up.

Hi Alex,

I believe the way it works is this:

To become an associate member you'll pay the £82 membership fee and your membership as an associate will not have to be renewed for another 22 months - 10 months remaining on student membership plus 12 months renewed membership.

This is how my membership was worked out.

Have a great Xmas Alex and all the very best for 2012.

Hi Alex

I believe DavieR is right.

You can pay the subscription fee as advertised online, this will add another year to your current subscription and update your status. If you wish to keep the cost down at the moment then ring the ICB when they get back after christmas and just organise to pay the difference.

I did this with the payroll management addition, it was cheaper than adding another year.

Hope this helps

Merry Christmas
