Solar Accounts

Hello All,

Solar Accounts looks like a nice software package, but does it do everything a bookkeeper would need??, as it is quite a bit cheaper than many other software packages out there I am a bit worried about the old saying 'You get what you pay for'.

Any thoughts??.

Take Care,

Creditus.

Hi, I have been using Solar Accounts since it was first launched and have found it to be a really good package. It is very user friendly with lots of on-line support from their Help section. If you can't find answers there then you can e-mail and get a reply within 24hours.
The software is constantly being updated and they encourage suggestions about anything you feel could be improved.
I have found it particularly useful for small clients but larger companies are happier with a well known package like Sage or QuickBooks.
Hope this is of help,
Regards
Beverley.

It is worth considering as you get unlimited companies. Not many of the others do that. I liked it but it is a little too basic for what I want.

With regards to them wanting feed back, I have been asked on a few occations for feed back on their software, but like many other smaller programmes there is no function for batch purchcse invoicing processing which quickly becomes a pain if you pick up a client that has a once a year bookkeeping requirement.

Over all I did like Solar 3.5 out of 5.
