Hi All.

Has anyone tried Sage One online accounting?  If so could you let me have your feedback please?  I am thinking of recommending it to a potential new client  but I haven't tried it or spoken to anyone who has?  I have used the ordinary Sage 50 accounts packages for some years.

Thank you.

I use it for one client and it's ok. The main weakness for me is that you can't post payments / receipts on account, so this can hold the bank rec up a bit. Hopefully this will change in the future.

The other thing that drives me insane is entering dates, you have to put the "/" between the d,m,y before you can post the transaction. Why this was deemed necessary is beyond me.

Hi Tony.

Thanks for that.  I think I may need to have a run through myself before I put a client on to it. Best wishes.

Hi All I too found sage one a bit clunky especially when compared to the Line 50 products I think there are better online options out there at this time such as Quickbooks online and Xero (I am sure other people who have used other alternative system could also offer an insight) Simple things like editing the chart of accounts and making some entries that would normally be bank payment or receipt end having to be doen via a journal. Kind regards Stuart
