So, did you survive January?

So, 48 self assessment returns done, of which 38 were in January. Did all the usual monthly bookkeeping too, as well as two sets of statutory accounts.

Only seven VAT returns, two sets of statutory accounts and three client all day visits to do before 16th February when I'm taking a long overdue holiday.

So, how did you do?

I'm finally able to breath too.  I looked around my office today and wondered where my desk went.  I'm going to need to spend a day reorganising.  Luckily I have no VAT returns due in February.

Wow Liz, that's awesome.  I've only done 2 SA returns so far, but only passed the exam a month ago so the 2 were terrifying enough, but I've survived.  I've got 5 lined up to do in April for the current year (including my own), I think I've managed to convince my customers to get them in and done early, but we'll have to see if they keep to their word.


I'm up to 10 customers now, since I got my first one in July, so things are building nicely.

Wow - that's all I can say!  I did my first client one in January - that's all.  But roll on April..... then I'll have 6 to do!

Oh - and did just one VAT return in January too.

Where have you got your customers from?? I set up in Sept and still don't have any.

Any suggestions??
