Hi
i have been asked to take donations in and to put them into petty cash then draw a cheque to the charity after all the donations have come in. Not sure if this is the correct way of doing things as the accountant told me to put the donations into a separate account then draw a cheque from that account which is separate from the business bank account.
Can anyone advise me before i do something wrong.
