First Greater Manchester Branch Meeting - 1st February 2012

Hi all,

Thank you to everyone that attended the inaugural GM Branch meeting, it was an excellent start with 15 attendees.

Also thank you to Ken Bell for his attendance, guidance and support to get us up and running.

The meeting was very constructive and we have many plans and ideas for the meetings ahead. If you failed to attend the meeting then please come and join us for the next meeting.

I will post brief points of discussed items shortly, within this thread and I will ask the ICB to start a new thread for the next meeting once the venue has confirmed the booking with a link to the events page.

Great first meeting - lots of participatoin and ideas for future meetings. Good venue with free parking but I needed a cup of tea after a difficult journey!  For future reference, I can offer the group a live demo of online software, comparing the  accounting packages of Kashflow and Xero.

Hello Christopher and all who attended the first Manchester Meeting. 

It was lovely to meet you all, I thought it was a great start with lots of different personalities  and good ideas put forward for future discussions.  An interesting  mix of experienced book keepers and students giving us a good basis for building a diverse and informative local network with a broad range of book keeping support.

Looking for ward to the next one !
