Hi,

I guess this one would be more directed to those working for the Institute:

If somebody wasn't using a course provider at what point could they apply to join the ICB as a student?  Would they somehow need to prove they were studying the syllabus, wait until they were about to take their first exam, or what?

I'm doing self-study too - so just to clarify, I can literally register as a student and "book" my Level 1 exam on the same day, no wait at all?

Hi Elise,

Yes, I believe you can.  I decided to join sooner rather than later because membership gives you access to all the discussions, and you are able to attend events and such like.
