Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site and have been looking at both the ICB and IAB.

I have been study with the Open University for the last year.
This has included B190 (Introduction to Accounting and Bookkeeping) and B291 (Financial Accounting).     
I sat the B291 exam last week so am still awaiting the results - fingers crossed  

Can anyone tell me what exemptions these 2 courses would give me for the ICB?

Hi Sarah,

I done B190, B291 and B292. The last two gave me a certificate in accounting through the OU and this qualification granted me exemptions up to level 3 manual and computerised. 
I had already done ICB exams manual 1 and 2 so only had to pay for level 3 manual and levels 2 and 3 computerised. Once this was done I upgraded my menbership to full memeber.
