Hi everyone


I am using Sage Instant Accounts Plus and I am trying to print an invoice for an individual customer.


I have used report designer to design an invoice which is saved in reports/invoice/my invoice reports, but when I'm in a customers account and go to print an invoice it takes me to report brower where there is nothing under layouts and only the 'new' button is highlighted.


Any help most appreciated.

Hi Sue,


You need to save the invoice under layouts. I found my way round this by find a default layout that was close to how I wanted it and using the 'save as' option.

Hi there, 

That is a very good tip... whenever you are creating your own report/invoice/statement or any other document within sage... the best thing to do, is to Edit one of sage's reports and when you have it the way you want  "save as" and give it a name specific to you -  so that you keep the original to do further alterantions to if you want another slightly different one, but you will also save yours in the same place.
