Our next East Sussex branch meeting is on Wednesday 13th June 6.30 - 8.30pm at The Blackboys Inn, Nr Uckfield, East Sussex.
The venue will be providing sandwiches and snacks to help stop the rumbling stomachs of all of us who will be coming straight from work! As before, we will provide tea and coffee and there will be a cash bar for those who would like something a little stronger.
I am planning a talk based around payroll and salary sacrifice, but might also add in something about employee benefits as the P11D deadline is looming. If anyone has particular experience in these areas your input would be gratefully received!
If you remember from the last meeting I asked for 3 volunteers to step forward to help form a branch committee - so far I have received only 1 volunteer. I would be grateful to hear from anyone else who would like to be involed - it shouldn't take up very much of your time, we could probably do most of the discussion online or over Skype to keep it simple.
Lastly, I was hoping to hear from some of you who attended last years Bookkeepers Summit - I've not heard from anyone yet so if giving a presentation is too scary perhaps we could do a Q&A session? All I need is 3 or 4 members for 5 minutes. We just want to hear your thoughts on the Summit - what presentations did you attend? Was they interesting/helpful? Did you attend the Gala? etc, etc. Nothing too heavy!!
