Calling all Wiltshire ICB Members and Students (and surrounding borders!)

This is a reminder that the next Wiltshire Branch meeting is this Monday 9th July at the Cricket Field House, Wilton Road, Salisbury. Special guest Shirley Hollis, an local accountant will be with us. Deails in the ICB events page,not too late to book in, but hurry or you will miss this event!


The Branch meetings are good way for local ICB members and students to to meet and share in a relaxed surroundings with a cup of tea or coffee!

Greetings fellow wiltshire bookkeepers (Oooo Aaarrrrrrr).

Was nice to see the familiar faces at our branch meeting in July, along with a couple of new faces.  Hope you all enjoyed Shirley's participation, and you all got something out of it.

Just an update for the next meeting, 17th September, 7pm Cricket Field House, Paul will be booking the venue any day now.  I'm currently in negotiations with Aaron from Webbed Feet, the web design company.  I'm just waiting for him to give me the final nod. 

So, if there's anyone in our area (or close by) who wants to attend the next meeting, the invites should be going out soon.  Should be very useful for any Self-employed members - or anyone thinking of becoming a s/e bookkeeper as he will be showing us how to get the best out of our websites, social media, search engine optimisation and all that geeky stuff.  Should be awesome.

This should be a very informative meeting for any self-employed bookkeepers, or students who are looking to go into practice.

WILTSHIRE ICB MEETING

 Hi Every Body!

Hope you all had a good summer, enjoying the sun we had! If you been on holiday, hope you had a good time.

Reminder, that if you haven’t booked in for the meeting on Monday, there is still time to book in over the week-end. I know there is a few that haven’t booked in yet!

We will be joined by Aaron Griffin of Webbed Feet, who will be discussing presenting, 'How to get the most out of your website'. Aaron will be covering social media, search engine optimisation and lots of other geeky stuff, which we all need to get our heads round. Aaron is a leading website developer in the country is in great demand with his presentations on top of the day to day job, so we are very fortunate to have him just for us! This will be good for everyone who has their own website and for those who haven’t one at the moment.

Morning all, just a quick request that if you haven't yet booked for this event, please do so asap.  Should be a very informative meeting with our guest Aaron Whiffin (not Griffin).

Hoping to get a photo of the group to go in the local paper(s) so dress nice and put your best lippy on (boys too).

Reminder: Subject: Recollections of the ICB Summit so that we can help each other to move forward with our businesses!
