Hi there, just wanted some general advice really.  I have been studying and passed Level II Manual and Computerised Book Keeping, but have yet to take the plunge to work for myself as I don't feel ready.  Have decided to start studying for Level III manual book keeping.  Have ordered the book Advanced Book Keeping from Kaplan which covers the syllabus - can anyone tell me if this is enough, and whether it would cover everything in the exam. Also, have decided to catch up on Level II revision before I start - not sure if this is needed and whether Level III covers items studied in Level II.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This will give you some idea of what is involved.

Hi Cheer123

I started studying the ICB exams some time ago.  With a full time job and a part time business studying is taking longer than  I initially thought.

I passed level 1 & 2 manual and computerised myself just using books.  I thought I could use the same appoach for level 3. 

However, I found the leap from level 2 to level 3 a bit too much to do on my own and after six months of trying I decided to sign up with ideal schools. I'm hoping the material is explained a bit more in depth and the tutor support will get me through.

Hi,  I would love to receive any Manual or Computerised level 3 Mocks please, to sm.park@btinternet.com.


I am waiting for my level 2 computerised results and am about to study level 3 computerised through a study provide and am going to attempt the level 3 manual by myself through the Kaplan Books (this is to keep costs down).
