Removed by ICB for contravention of Forum rules

Perhaps the moderator could have shown some respect and contacted me prior to completely removing the posts. I notified James and provided links to the topics whilst in correspondence on Saturday and have received no objections. I am also capable of editing a post rather than having to completely remove it.
Forum users now have a rather strange topic to read and for those who didnt see my post will be left thinking what on earth was so bad for it to be completely removed. For those who did read it I would be interested to hear your views and if you feel it was in any way contravening forum rules.

Whilst i didnt see the original post, i can guess at what it said. I personally do not see anything wrong with what i imagine the post was.
It wasnt like it was advertising a commercial course, and it would be something to benefit a few lucky members.

Hi Gary,
Your original post was completely reasonable.
THis type of opportunity should be actively supported by the ICB as it provided a fantastic opportunity for a member to further theor skills and knowledge.
I think it should have been seen as an opportunity for a member to receive a develpment opportunity but also to help members in the future who would be completing the course to ensure it met their needs.

Thank you for your support. I have also received a lot of support offline. I dare say not too many would want to post their views on here as the generall belief sems to be that the ICB are responsible. I can assure you that the ICB nor any of the staff from the ICB are responsible for the actions taken by the moderator. Look out for someone with a high viz, clipboard and agenda lol
