Hi everyone :)

i have now failed my payroll exam twice using sage instant payroll year 2012/2013, and now need to resit I have been told that I will need to do either the new tax year or 2011/12
I am in a bit of a state as I do not have the software and cannot afford to purchase it or pay to study the new year.

has anyone got a suggestion on what to do? Is there a way I can convert my software to suit 2011 info?

I have emailed my college explaining the situation, as I have not learned anything major into the new legislation a and 2013 tax year what should I do?

Any advice would be appreciated.
I really want to pass this time round.

Hi Sophie

If yours is a full versiion and not a trial version, then you should be able to put in the correct figures in manually, but if you change them, u may have to manually change them again if you want the original ones from the program. Best of luck in your exam.

Very best wishes

Thank you.
on it is a trial version.

after thinking about it I might just bite the bullet and do new year as it will put one in better position for career.

Thank you very much.

hi Sophie, If it is time restricted and you have enough time left, u probably have nothing to lose by seeing if it will, take the legistrative details you need for the exam, b4 you spend any more money, as when once you have passed you may choose another system other than sage.  Best of luck in your exam

very best wishes

Hi Sophie

I passed my payroll exam a couple of months ago using Moneysoft Payroll Manager's free trial version. Check it out but a word of warning, this was the pre RTI version of the exam.

Cheers
