Good day East Sussex Members,

You are invited to join us at our next branch meeting on Weds 9th October 6.30 - 8.30 pm at the Blackboys Inn, Lewes Road, Blackboys, Nr Uckfield, East Sussex,  TN22 5LG.  We have a private bar and a hot buffet will be served.

The ICB's Director of Awards, Jacquie Mount, will be giving an introduction to budgeting, looking at how to develop a business budget from scratch. The content will be similar to that being developed for a new ICB CPD unit at level 3 in budgeting.

Starting with overhead estimates the presentation will look at how to calculate the income needed to break even, give some ideas on how to develop and estimate a profit and loss account and will move onto looking at how to estimate cash flow.

It will cover three different business scenarios (depending on time) and hand outs will be given on all the figures.

Can i still go to these branch meetings even though i'm only studying to be a Bookkeeper and not working as one? I get the emails but not sure if its just one that gets sent to everyone regardless? Thanks

Thanks for your enquiry Ang, and YES we would love you to come along to our East Sussex Branch Meetings.

The meetings are open to all levels of membership and are a great place for students to come and learn and share experiences from those of us who are longer in the tooth!!

We have a meeting this evening which is still open for bookings if you would like to join us.  Otherwise we normally meeting on the second Wednesday of every month (except Dec, Jan & Aug).

Don't be worried about coming on your own - you will be warmly welcomed and looked after by the other members.
