Well I submitted my exam paper on 20th October and didn't expect to see my result until nearly the end of the month. Thought I'd just check today (keen?? Me??) and I passed with Merit 90%

to say I'm pleased is an understatement. Just wanted to share

i know a lot of people worry about the payroll exam but I sincerely say that if I can do it anyone can

Hi Clare,

congrats on exam pass! Is that the Summative exam you have passed or is there another exam after that? What's the pass mark?

There's only one payroll exam and the pass mark is 85% if I recall correctly. 

I wasn't confident when I submitted as I self studied using HMRC and Sage Payroll along with advice from an accountant who specialises in payroll. 

I would have to recommend to anyone else thinking of studying payroll that they use a proper training provider like Ideal Schools as the way I studied would not suit a lot of folks.
