Hi all

I am resitting my level 3 manual exam tomorrow morning  ...does anyone know what the minimum pass rate is on the old syllabus please ....I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find the info.....I am dreading my resit,been quite a while since first attempt and the fail has knocked my confidence in a big way so fingers crossed.

I believe the pass mark is 70%.

I believe it is 70% also.

Thanks for the info on pass rate everyone...unfortunately I failed  this is my second attempt maybe it's time to throw in the towel!!!

My thoughts are maybe to try the new syllabus and see how I fair with that

Sorry to hear your news (I am at a similar point to you !!). You can upgrade your membership to do accounts for Partnerships and Not for Profit Orgs (ie become a new syllabus AICB) by just taking the two home based exams BA5 & BA6 - I am not sure how much you want to do Ltd companies ?

I've just sat level 3 old syllabus today, thankfully I passed but have to say  I thought I wouldn't. I think the new syllabus will will be less stressful as it seems it's a topic at a time. You won't need to remember so much information at once.

Thanks for your feedback everyone...I have decided to leave studies now until the new year and am awaiting reply from ICB regarding switching to the new syallabus
