Hi there

I have been trying to help a small theatre company who got themsleves in a bit of a pickle with quickbooks desktop payroll, but I have failed to sort it.... I am really struggling! Does anyone have knowledge of the programme and might be able to help? Its quite urgent! It would need to be a visit on site at the clients offices near the Armley gyratory in Leeds

Thanks!

Alex

Hi Alex

I don't use quickbooks payroll but I do use quickbooks and I have my own payroll bureau, what is the problem? If the client is paying for the payroll monthly, they should be able to ring quickbooks and as them to help, though not sure if they would charge. Is it that the RTI isnt working? they could always cancel the quickbooks payroll and put it into another system, using the year to date figures. You could look on the proadvisor website and see if their is one close to your client that uses the payroll.

Although I don't actually use the payroll side, if you want to email me the query, I'll have a look and see if i can help.

Hi Alex

Hope you are well.

I used Quick Books desk top payroll before you advised me about the much more user friendly Money Soft.  If still needed I would be happy to call on your client.  Just let me know,

Hi Alex

I have 2 clients that use the awful QuickBooks payroll system that I help with and take the journals from (I use Moneysoft for my own payroll)......... I too have had a few issues with it........I don't have a lot of capacity, coupled with going on holiday next week, don't know if I'll be able to help, but if you want to email me with the issues, if I can help, I will - info@ladyofledger.co.uk

Hi Alex,

I'm very familiar with Quickbooks Payroll and use it for a number of clients (and I actually think it's great once you've mastered it).  Sure I'd be able to help and I'm not far from Leeds, just let me know if you're still stuck!
