Hello,
It was with some shock today that I read the Ideal Schools website and realised that "AICB" no longer qualified you as a "Certified Bookkeeper"!!! I panicked as I am an AICB certified bookkeeper with a licence and clients!!! This was the first I had heard of this change.
Anyhow, I called the helpline and they said all existing AICB's under the pre-2019 system would be upgraded to MICB.
This sounds great but I neglected to ask when this would happen. I often refer my clients to the website and a link is included in my letter of engagement. I am worried a new one might come on here and think that I am falsely claiming to be a "Certified Bookkeeper" as the website now states that AICB does not qualify.
Does anyone know when the upgrades are going to happen?
