I've seen an email from HMRC regrading the job retention scheme portal. Anyone logging in will need a gateway ID/password. Have been asked by a couple of clients if they can use their self assessment IDs or if they have to create a new one ?  May be too early, but anyone have any thoughts ?

 I would think it would need to be for PAYE, depending on how they trade they may be able to log in & add the tax to their account
