Hi All

I have decided to give notice to one client - the workload is very much more than was anticipated and is causing me alot of stress.  Do you think 3 months notice is fair? I will submit this VAT return and then suggest she looks for someone new. Of course the current situation makes this a bit more tricky but hoping there is some way around this. Would love to be able to suggest a QBO person to her but like most people I work alone so do not know anyone!

kind regards

 Hi Tiddles,

Do you not have a Letter of Engagement with this client stipulating a period of notice?  I would say that 3 months' notice is more than enough.  Normally I would give just a month, but of course it's entirely up to you in the absence of a Letter of Engagement.

Whereabouts is this client based?

Pauline
