Hello everyone

I've been delayed in getting the Derbyshire March meeting into the online shop, so I just wanted to make you all aware that it is going ahead, and will be at the Nags Head in Mickleover as usual. They have got wi-fi and think it will work upstairs in the function room... I will be bringing a dongle just in case! And a kettle :)

The speaker will be Debbie Inglis, who did a fantastic presentation on marketing a few months ago - this time the topic will be social media marketing, so that should be very useful for those of us in the process of building up our businesses.

Hope to see as many of you as possible on Thursday at 7!

I am hoping to come to the meeting tonight but I've never been to one of these meetings before.   


Would you be able to give me some idea of what happens at these meetings  please.

Hi Jill

The meetings tend to be quite informal, and the format changes slightly each time, depending on what we've got on the agenda. Tonight's meeting will mostly be taken up with Debbie's presentation on social media, then we'll have a cup of tea and you'll get chance to have a chat with everyone.

After that, one of the group members has got some information about some new software that's available, so she's going to talk us through that. If anyone has anything else they want to discuss, we might spend a few minutes on that. It should all be done and dusted by about 9pm.

Having checked with the venue, I'm afraid I've had to change the date of the next meeting to Thursday December 5th - it's been booked by someone else on November 28th. Apologies for any inconvenience.
