What software for level 3 computerised exam?

Hi everyone, I'm interested to know what software people have used to pass the level 3 computerised exam? I'm looking to do level 3 shortly but I don't have any software package and didn't want to go to the expense of buying sage at the present time. I used the trial version of fusion accounts to pass my level 2 but I'm not sure if this would be suitable for the next one. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gemma,

 

You can use any bespoke accounts package for Level III as long as you are able to provide ICB with the relevant reports, which would be similar to those that you would have provided as part of your Level II Computerised exam submission.

Thanks for your reply Brian, i'm slightly wary of the fact that certain software may not provide the reports required. I seem to remember feeling that fusion lacked some of the content in the reports and provided less detail (although it did provide the relevant reports). It would be nice to know of other people's experience of passing the level 3 computerised using different software.

Sorry I can't be of further help as our own experiences have been with Sage, which we know allows access to all required reports. Hopefully someone will post to set your mind at ease Smile

The post is really old, but really need help. did you amange to pass your B3 exame? Which software package you used? Regards Milene
