I have been asked by a friend for advice. She will be starting a Nanny job in October which will probably be 3 days per week for approx 6 months and the family want her to be self employed. As far as I can see on HMRC website Nanny's are normally employed. She is unsure yet if she will need another job once she starts or will just work for them. Anyone come across anything similar please? I don't want to tell her to register if she should in fact be employed.
