Buying Property in the UK from Oversease

Hi All,

I have a client based locally to me who has referred his brother who is looking to purchase property here in the UK. The brother lives in Lagos, Nigeria.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and does anyone have any guidance?

I believe he is just looking for a set of accounts, but has no business dealings in the UK

If he is looking for a set of accounts, is this because he is planning to let out property and will he have property income in the UK, and is it this that he needs accounts prepared for?

 Hi Yolande

He told me that the property will by a buy-to-let. He wants to apply for a UK mortgage as a British citizen using his co-owned address in London base do cash flow from a UK bank account.

I have not had any dealing with property or landlords so any advice you can give me would help immensely.
