I am moving a client from desktop software to cloud based free agant in preparation for MTD.
I have run my EOY and have an opening TB including a reconciled bank balance.
My question is this - do I enter the balance as per cashbook or as per bank statement as my opening balance on free agent?
If I use bank statement then my TB will be off and also how do I explain the lodgements and unpresented cheques when they appear on the statement?
If I use my cashbook balance how do I explain the lodgements and unpresented cheques when they appear? They are not for debtors/creditors.
There are no invoices to match them to???
