I am looking to establish a very simple website -really just one page with my info on - just so that something pops up if they undertake a search

I have had a quick look at Wix, but are there any other simple and cheap solutions that you could recommend?

Hi Tiddles,

I can recommend Wordpress, it's how I built my own website and there is a free version, you would just need to buy a domain name for a minimum of a year.

I also believe that you can build one using google websites too.
