I am Currently studying level 2, level 3, level 4 in bookkeeping and will also be completing the payroll and self assessment tax return qualifications and will be complete mid next year.
What I wanted to ask is has anyone gone from qualifications like these to being self-employed, I’ve done my parents limited companies books for a couple of years using Xero and I am also learning to use Sage 50 in my qualificatIons. As much as I would love to gain experience from an accounting business, I am in a good job (and obviously as I have bills to pay) I can’t find the time/days to go and gain experience in accountancy without losing money.
With all of these qualifications do You think someone is able and to feel comfortable to do tax returns for the self-employed and returns for small limited companies?
