An employee started with on the 2nd March 2020. He was paid up to the week ending 25th March then went off due to Covid -19. At that time as he wasn’t on our payroll from the 28th February so he didn’t receive any wages. The scheme then changed from mid-April so from the 23rd April to present we have him back on payroll as furloughed. He is entitled to backpay from 26th March to 22nd April? The wages are processed weekly and rti information sublitted weekly. I would be grateful for any information anyone has on this.
You could use HMRC PAYE Tools to submit an RTI, however, have you yet submitted your CJRS grant claim for the period as you can only submit one claim for each period. I would suggest emailing ICB member services with your exact situation for more detailed advice specific to your situation if needed
