Hi All,

I need your help for this question please, I am doing a mock exam and can't solve this question.

The waiting days of a PIW are 6 ?

Carol works each week Monday to Friday, earning a weekly wage of £300 during the tax year 2019/20. She is absent from work due to sickness on the following dates and has provided the necessary certification:

12th - 16th August 2019 inclusive
7
th - 10th September 2019 inclusive
20
th – 24t January 2020 inclusive

Over the course of these periods of sickness, how many paid Statutory Sick Pay days are there overall ?

Hi Makis,

have a look at this HMRC link as it gives details on qualifying days. https://www.gov.uk/statutory-sick-pay/what-youll-get
