A UK Limited Company currently has a branch in Italy which it has to close by 31st December due to Brexit regulations and their type of business.
All staff both in the UK and Italy work remotely. They wish to move the Italian staff onto the UK payroll from 1st January. The Italian staff will remain in Italy and continue to work remotely. Is there anytjhing in the Brexit rules that will stop UK companies from employing remote workers from outside the UK?
