Hi

im trying to understand why on some mocks unpresented payments = add & outstanding receipts = subtract and the other mocks unpresented payments = subtract & outstanding receipts = add?? Ive done 3 & 2 are one way & one is opposite? All 3 closing balances are minus figures. 
id ask my tutor but they dont support or reply to me!

Hi,

It could be to do with whether the mock question is reconciling from bank statement balance to the accounting balance of the bank account or from the accounting balance of the bank account to the bank statement.

Hope that helps either resolve or at least eliminate a possible reason.
