I have taken on a new client. It's her second year as self employed. She has submitted her first self-assesment return herself.
I have taken a look at her return to extract data for this years return. I am a little puzzed by one part of this return.
It's the 2019-20 return.
The SA103S, Business Details Section. Question 7. Date your books or accounts are made up to. She has entered 30/09/2020.
Is this acceptable? Can she have this date in here as it is past the 5 April 2020?
