Hi,

The company I work for wants to return the claimed Furlough money to HMRC, do we have to reissue the paslip and rerun payroll for the period covered by the scheme?

Thank you inadvance

 Hi there,

No, you don't need to rerun the payroll.  You can deduct any overclaimed grant from the next furlough claim, or if you are just wanting to pay back furlough money that you have claimed up until now, take a look at this link:

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/pay-coronavirus-job-retention-scheme-grants-back

Hope this helps.
