Has anyone taken the payroll managment level 3 exam and used Xero for the computerised question? I use Xero for my day to day bookkeeping so am keen to use it for this exam aswell. I'm taking the 2019/2020 exam. I've created a company on a free trial and managed to set it up all ok and run the first pay runs for week 1 and Month 1, however I can't progress to week 2 or month 2 as Xero only allows one draft pay run at a time. Could I actually post the pay run, as this will get declined by hmrc anyway as the credentials will be wrong? Posting is the only way I can seem to be able to progress on the subsequent pay runs.
If any one has any advice it would much appreciated? Especially if someone has used Xero for the exam/mock exam...or if anyone knows that the exam just can't be taken on Xero. Although on the mock it does give Xero as an option when asked to state what software is being used.
