I am about to be the Treasurer for a charity on a voluntary basis.  The charity will pay the Xero subscription at cost.   I am also going to be doing an independent examination of another charity on a voluntary basis and they will pay the Xero subscription at cost to me.  The Xero subscriptions are only available to  Xero Partners so they have to pay me and I pay Xero.  I will also be carrying out the necessary AML

Does anyone have a template for a Letter of Engagement on this basis please?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Diane

I have just used my standard letter of engagement for a FOC Independent Examination keeping everything in, you could then adjust the section on fees to reflect the subscription costs that you will be charging.  Although do you need a software subscription to complete your examination?

I would guess you would do the same for your Treasurer role as you will still be providing a service, even if it's just a software subscription?

Belt and braces anyway!Smile

Hope that helps

Thanks Karen, the charity I am doing the independent examination for want to use Xero hence subscription, I will just provide consultancy and year end review.  Amending the standard letter of engagement, template found on the ICB website, is exactly what I decided to do.

Thanks again.
