Level 2 A3 software question

I have signed up to Sage Cloud free trial for the A3 module.

At the start of the self study textbook, we are instructed to choose a business name in Sage, which cannot be changed later on the software.

When sitting the exam at a later date, any reports produced will have a different business name therefore to whatever one the exam asks us to use.

Will this result in marks being deducted on each report for incorrect company name?

I don't want to pay the exam fee if I'm possibly going to lose marks for this.

Thanks

Hi, I have just finished studying for the A3 exam using a trial version of Sage and am ready to sit the exam. My tutor has said I will need to reset my data before taking the exam so it will give me a clean start to reenter whatever the exam asks for.  Hope the link attached explains and that this helps answer your question.

Hi

Yes, I had tried resetting the data, but it doesn't allow you to change the business name. It just clears all the data out.

Maybe it's not an issue in the exam, I was just concerned about possibly losing marks for having the wrong business name on the reports.

I got round it by cancelling my free trial, and signing up again using a different email address. I was able to sit the exam with a fresh business.

Thanks
