Good morning fellow bookkeepers,
I am currently employed by a Company that hires out a studio room for various uses, yoga etc. What is the position regarding vat. My understanding is that vat IS NOT chargeable unless Company opts to tax.
If the Company also offers other services such as meals & drinks (not in the studio but in a different location) which are vatable and all charged on the same invoice, then can the rental aspect of the studio still not attract vat?
